People who have not yet come forward for their seasonal Covid-19 vaccine booster are strongly encouraged to get jabbed before the offer closes on Wednesday 31 January.

Since the vaccination programme launch at the end of 2020, more than 5,206,260 million Covid-19 vaccinations have been given in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB). This has helped protect people, including those most at risk, from serious illness or hospitalisation.

Rachael Corser, Chief Nursing Officer for BOB Integrated Care Board which manages and funds NHS health and care services, said: ‘The Covid-19 vaccine remains our best line of defence against the virus. It’s quick and easy and I urge anyone eligible who has not yet come forward to do so before the offer closes.

“The vaccines are safe, effective, and the best way to boost your protection from serious illness.”,
