Primary Care Networks - what are they?
Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are formed through local GP practices agreeing to work together and with the wider health and social organisations, allow services to be developed locally, in response to the needs of local patients.
PCNs are part of the network of health and care roles in a local area, typically covering 30,000-50,000 patients. In terms of COVID vaccination, PCNs have worked hard, alongside other health services like community pharmacists and our local hospitals, to ensure everyone on their patient lists have been offered a COVID jab when eligible.
